Kiersten Todt is Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity Partnership & Engagement at Mastercard. In her role, she oversees Mastercard’s global engagements with government entities and partners, facilitating collaboration to address evolving cyber threats and promote secure innovation. Kiersten brings decades of leadership experience spanning government, the private sector and NGOs, offering strategic vision and operational expertise to support Mastercard’s expansion of its cyber, risk, fraud, identity, and AI-enabled services.
Most recently, she served as President of Wondros, a service-driven creative company that specializes in brand storytelling, strategic communications, and building transformative campaigns. Prior to Wondros, Kiersten served as Chief of Staff of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and her government service also includes serving as Executive Director of President Obama’s bipartisan Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity and as a professional staff member in the U.S. Senate, where she co-drafted the legislation to create the Department of Homeland Security. Kiersten also co-founded, with leading industry CEOs, the Cyber Readiness Institute in 2017, a non-profit focused on small business cybersecurity and supply chain resilience, and served as CEO of Liberty Group Ventures, LLC.
Kiersten is a strategic advisor to venture capital firms and serves on Boards of various technology companies focused on open-source software, memory safe language, and neurodiversity. She frequently contributes to national television, radio, and print media outlets.
Kiersten holds a Master’s of Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School and an A.B. from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
