Alabama Water OT/IT Cyber Summit

The McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security is proud to host the Alabama Water OT/IT Cyber Summit on Thursday, September 4, at 9 a.m. CST at Auburn University’s Research and Innovation Campus, 345 Voyager Way, Huntsville, AL 35806.

Bringing together the operators who provide safe, reliable water to citizens across the state with government and industry leaders, the summit will highlight the unique risks to the water sector and explore opportunities for deeper collaboration.

Featuring keynote addresses by:

• Alabama Chief Information Security Officer Chad Smith 
• John Garstka, Director for Cyber Warfare within the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Platform and Weapon Portfolio Management, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, Department of Defense (to be confirmed)

We’ll also hear from:

• Local leaders at the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
• Industry partners including representatives from CrowdStrike, Dynics, Jacobs Engineering, PeopleTec, U.S. Army Threat Systems Management Office
• Managers and operators of water systems across the state
